PKF appointed to Priory Care

INSOLVENCY specialists at PKF in Manchester have been appointed to another care home business.

Kerry Bailey and Jonathan Newell have been called in at Priory Care which runs three homes in North Wales and Suffolk.

It is owned by Dylan Southern whose interests also include the nine-home Southern Care Group which PKF was appointed to last week.

PKF has appointed care home management company Leytons Healthcare Group to help it operate the business which employs 100 staff.

Ms Bailey said: “Steps have been taken to stabilise the trading position and lines of communication have been opened with the relevant regulatory authorities. The administrators are committed to ensuring that all care standards are maintained and all homes remain open.”

Priory’s care homes in Wales are located in Wrexham and Mold.
