Apartment block planned for Baltic Triangle

PLANS have been submitted for an 11-storey residential block close to Liverpool’s docks.
The application is for an 104-apartment building with ground floor commercial units and car parking.
The development site is home to old workshops between Norfolk Street and Brick Street in an industrial area that is being reinvented as the Baltic Triangle which the city council hopes will become a magnate for creative businesses.
Documents filed with the council said the application was made by London-based energy and commodities recruitment specialist Greenway Global Ltd, but a director at the company said the reference was a mistake. The architect is listed as Make Architecture where no one was available for comment.
Meanwhile Liverpool-based Borden Properties had its plans for a 79-apartment development nearby approved when city planners met on November 16.
