Appointments: Yorkshire Bank appoints regional business development chief; Fulda joins Davies Arnold Cooper; and more

Yorkshire Bank has appointed its first regional managing partner for business development.

The bank has appointed Ian Hardman to the new role, which will be based in Manchester and covers the whole of the North West for its Integrated Financial Solutions (iFS) business banking division.

Hardman, who has 17 years of banking experience, has been promoted from his previous role as a director in the bank’s corporate and structured finance team.

Brian Colquhoun, regional director for Yorkshire Bank, said: “Investing for Growth continues to support new business customers by allowing trading companies to take advantage of quality opportunities to grow. Ian’s appointment will allow us to build and maintain our strategy for attracting new trading businesses to the bank and supporting business growth plans.”

Law firm Davies Arnold Cooper has brought in former Halliwells partner Sydney Fulda. Fulda, who is a commercial litigation expert, was one of the partners who had previously  transferred to HBJ Gateley Wareing following the collapse of Halliwells. He is a a qualified mediator, a member of the Insolvency Lawyers’ Association and the Turnaround Management Association.

The Manchester office of Colliers International has appointed Hannah Quinn to its Corporate Restructuring division. Quinn had previously worked for more than three years in corporate recovery, agency and investment and valuation services at the Manchester office of property firm Edward Symmons.

Richard Crompton, director of corporate restructuring at Colliers’ Manchester office, said: “Hannah is an excellent addition to our team. Corporates, banks and other institutions with underperforming property loans will benefit greatly from her expert and tailored advice.”
