Lancashire law firms combine

THREE law firms based on the Fylde Coast are to combine, creating a 60 staff, 11 partner practice.

The trio, Blackhursts, John Budd & Co and LSC Solicitors will merge next month and be known as Blackhurst Budd LLP.

Warren Spencer of Blackhursts, the future managing partner of Blackhurst Budd LLP said: “The proposed merger will make our practice unmatchable both in terms of our size, the expertise and range of legal services we offer.

“Integrating the three companies will give us more budget to invest in the practice’s growth, development and service provision.  We will also be able to pool together our legal talent and create specialist teams in both criminal and civil law, including areas such as personal injury, employment, commercial and family law.
 
“This will benefit both our new and existing clients, because they will have access to not just one lawyer but to a team who will have a wealth of knowledge and experience.”
