JMW becomes LLP

LAW firm JMW has today a converted to a Limited Liability Partnership.

In the past 12 months the Manchester-based firm has JMW has appointed six  new partners and launched  new Sports Law and Corporate Recovery and Insolvency departments.

Bill Jones, JMW’s managing partner, said the conversion made sense as the firm grew in size and that team structures would remain the same.

He said: “A corporate platform will allow us to take greater advantage of the Legal Services Act 2007 so that we will be able to offer our clients more diversified business services.

“We have been planning the conversion to LLP status for a number of years so we have been able to put in place plans to make the transition as seamless and straight-forward as possible.”
