Kennedy Wilson Europe chooses Francis House as its charity of the year for 2017

Kennedy Wilson Europe, owner and manager of Towers Business Park in Didsbury, has announced a year-long partnership with nearby hospice, Francis House, which will support the vital support it offers to children, young adults and their families facing life-limiting illnesses.

The partnership was launched on Wednesday 7  December with a festive event at Towers which saw employees at the site gather for an early Christmas celebration. The event, organised by branding and digital communications agency, DS Emotion, also saw the handover of a huge number of Christmas presents which will be presented to the children supported by the hospice.

Towers Business Park was acquired by Kennedy Wilson Europe, an LSE listed property company that invests in real estate across the UK, Ireland, Spain and Italy, earlier this year for £82m. The offices are let to 21 corporate occupiers, which includes John Lewis, British Airways, Honeywell, Oracle, Syngenta and Cisco.

Matthew Milroy, asset manager at Kennedy Wilson Europe (KWE), said: “The partnership is an ideal opportunity to not only help support the vital work Francis House does for life-limited children and their families, but to bring the community of Towers together through a series of planned events.  Since taking over the business park, we have worked hard to engage with the people who work here and events such as this really help us to do that.”

Emma Rapley, fundraising officer at Francis House, said: “We are extremely grateful to KWE for choosing us as its charity of the year.  The support really will benefit all the families who rely on us. This valued partnership will continue to provide vital support for children and young adults across the North West who live with life-limiting illness.”

“The support Francis House gives to the children and their families in their care is absolutely vital and we are proud to offer them our continued support.” added Matthew. “We have  more events planned for next year and are looking  forward to ensuring those families  get the best possible care and support.”
