Legal 500 Recognition for Slater Heelis LLP

One of Manchester’s longest established law firms has been recommended across 11 practice areas in this year’s Legal 500 list, with four of its lawyers also included in the elite ‘leading lawyers’ list.
A further 19 lawyers at Slater Heelis LLP have been recommended in the Legal 500 UK 2020 editorial.
Katharine Mellor (Corporate & Commercial); Simon Wallwork (Corporate & Commercial) and Mark Heptinstall (Family) all retained their leading lawyers recommendations and were joined in this year’s list by Ken Salmon (Construction).
Other notable achievements saw the Slater Heelis employment and property litigation teams rise up one tier in the North West from last year.
Associate Matt Grellier (Construction) has been listed as a ‘rising star’ and Tricia Robinson (Family) and Hannah Al-Shaghana (Property) have been identified as next generation partners – a guide to new or younger partners who make a material difference to the practice.
Chris Bishop, managing partner at Slater Heelis, said: “I am particularly pleased this year to see some new faces added to our list of recommended lawyers, including Nicola Deutsch in our property team, Elizabeth Wilkinson in dispute resolution and Jim Tully in corporate and commercial.
“The most rewarding aspect for me as a managing partner is reading the client testimonials submitted to the Legal 500 which highlights the outstanding levels of service and advice delivered by all of our team across every practice area.
“Knowing that our team make a real, positive difference to our long-standing clients with proactive and pragmatic advice has been a highlight of this year’s Legal 500 and recognition for all the hard work of everyone in the firm.”
The Legal 500 Series, now in its 33rd year, is widely acknowledged as the world’s largest legal referral guide. More than 300,000 buyers of legal services are surveyed and interviewed globally each year.
The Legal 500 is an independent guide and firms and individuals are recommended purely on merit.
