Reserve A Hotel projected sales to reach £4 million in next 12 months
Bespoke Luxury Agency, Reserve A Hotel Eyes growth and recruitment drive after experiencing unprecedented growth during the Covid-19 pandemic and is expected to hit £4 million in accommodation only sales over the next 12 months.
The Hale (Cheshire) based agency has not only weathered the storm and seen sales soar with 2021 accommodation sales but also signed new trade partnerships with another 10 wholesalers, each to have approached the company after hearing of its significant growth.
Offering a bespoke luxury hotel only booking facility, Reserve A Hotel caters for a wide spectrum of clientele. Working solely on a repeat and recommendation model the agency is now seen as one of the fastest growing travel agencies in the North-West of England.
Headed up by entrepreneur Samuel Mond, Reserve A Hotel initially started as a hobby alongside his fin-tech company “Icount Money,” which was reported earlier this year to have been acquired by Cashplus Bank for an undisclosed sum, being the first fin-tech acquisition of 2021.
Mond, of Bowdon never expected the pandemic to be a catalyst for growth however saw the need for advance bookings for future travel.
“We quickly established that the Covid-19 pandemic was no small event, and the main focus was obtaining refunds. I wasn’t interested in future credits valid for a year, 2 years or whenever?. It was pointless! We processed hundreds of refunds (and it was hundreds, to the tune of £1.2 million) and I’m now down to my final 2, of which I’m confident of a positive outcome!”
As soon as there were glimmers of hope, Mond seized the opportunity to build a future pipeline of hotel bookings, with no obligation on clients having to part with any upfront deposit.
With sales projected over the next 12 months on track for £4 million, wholesalers are now knocking on the Reserve A Hotel door for a piece of the action.
Future plans? Samuel has hinted that other travel subsidiaries are on the horizon and is eyeing a recruitment drive to build a team of bespoke travel professionals, each passionate on delivering a 5* service resulting in further recommendations and growth.
“Our client base has tripled in 12 months whereby enquiries must be submitted by email. Gone are the days of endeavouring everything via WhatsApp – it’s imperative to ensure everything is documented from start to finish and I can’t wait for the next few years in travel, with eyes on significant expansion into other travel ancillaries.”
