£270m, 1,000-home Cowlairs development signed-off
Plans for a partnership that should unlock around 1,000 new homes at the long-derelict Cowlairs site in north Glasgow has been backed by the council’s administration committee.
Glasgow City Council, the Scottish National Investment Bank and Aviva Capital Partners will now move to finalise an investment agreement, subject to the governance approvals of each partner, to regenerate the 30-hectare site in Possilpark, which is currently owned by the council.
