Cushman & Wakefield announces new South West regional managing partner

Real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Sophia Sham as its new regional managing partner for the South West & South Wales.
She takes over from Tim Davis, who has held the leadership position since 2005.
Sham, who has been at Cushman & Wakefield for more than eight years, is the firm’s head of healthcare valuation & advisory, and leads one of the largest specialist valuation teams in the UK, providing data-led advice and commercial insight to clients ranging from regional to global players.
She will continue her healthcare leadership responsibilities in conjunction with spearheading the 45-strong South West & South Wales team at the firm’s regional hub office in Bristol.
Tim Davis remains as a senior figure in Bristol, providing strategic advice to clients active in the retail and leisure sector throughout the region.
Sham said she was thrilled to be given the responsibility of leading the South West and South Wales team.
“Cushman & Wakefield is a key player in the region, with market leading specialists advising on high-profile projects across the region and wider UK,” she added.
“I am keen to nurture and develop our existing talent and use my new role to bring together our collective strengths to provide the best advice to our clients to deliver their ambitions.
“We also take immense pride in our social responsibility and are passionate about supporting local charities. I will continue to build on the great work that Tim has done in this area.”
Tim Davis described Sophia as an exceptional and trusted adviser who possesses an abundance of the qualities required for the regional managing partner role.
“Alongside our colleagues in the region, I would like to congratulate her and look forward to seeing her successfully lead and grow the team, ensuring that we continue to inspire our specialists and deliver excellent results for clients,” he added.
