Bristol law firm Burges Salmon has provided advice on an acquisition for Moss, a Chicago-based company specialising in graphics and brand installations.

The corporate and M&A team at Burges Salmon assisted Moss in its UK acquisition of Macro Art, a graphics, branding, and signage company based in Cambridgeshire.

Moss is a portfolio company of investment funds managed by EagleTree Capital, a private equity firm in New York.

The acquisition of Macro Art enhances Moss’s European portfolio, supporting the company’s goal to offer sustainable and high-quality branded experiences for its growing international client base.

Bristol-based partner of Burges Salmon, Andrew Mills, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with Moss on its acquisition of Macro Art, signalling its entry into the UK market and supporting its growth strategy across Europe. Doing business in the UK for the first time is as exciting as it is complex and, with 30% of our client base located outside of the UK, we are perfectly placed to advise overseas clients targeting the UK to support their growth.”

Jason Popp, president and CEO of Moss, said: “The UK is an established and vibrant market for experiential, entertainment, sport and retail brand marketers. We are delighted to welcome the talented Macro Art team and their clients to Moss and look forward to an exciting future ahead. Our footprint of production facilities in the US, Germany, Poland, and now the UK, ensures we can support clients consistently and effectively regardless of where their branded experience is. We’re grateful to the Burges Salmon team for guiding us through this important acquisition from inception to completion.”
