Design consultancy expands Bristol team

Bristol based design consultancy Nash Partnership has recruited associate planner Alexandra Egge to its existing team.

Alexandra joins the practice from Arup in London, where she led projects ranging from strategic mixed-use development strategies and masterplans to net zero evidence studies for multiple London boroughs.

Projects included providing technical expertise to create legacy-led urban design strategies for communities impacted by HS2.

Before joining Arup, Alexandra was a senior town planner at Mott MacDonald in Cardiff.

She co-ordinated a range of disciplines to deliver strategic masterplans for regeneration projects at Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff Central Station.

Other projects have included planning and masterplan coordination for the development framework at Bristol’s Temple Quarter, one of the UK’s largest regeneration areas.

A chartered town planner, Alexandra brings to the practice a multidisciplinary approach to placemaking and a proven track record of delivering complex masterplans, town centre and placemaking plans, regeneration frameworks and heritage consents. She will help lead Nash Partnership’s planning consultancy while working closely with the leaders of its other services (architecture, placemaking and heritage).

With offices in Bath, Bristol and London, Nash Partnership is an award-winning consultancy offering services in planning, architecture, placemaking and heritage. Its planning team works on projects across the South West and beyond, delivering advice to private and public sector clients including land and property owners, commercial organisations, local authorities and individual homeowners.

Daniel Lugsden (Partner, Nash Partnership) said: “With expertise spanning many of our specialisms and regions alike, we’re thrilled to welcome Alex to the team. From master planning and regeneration to heritage and strategic policy development, Alex brings a significant set of skills that will bolster our successful teams. With her keen interest in urban design as well as planning, we think Alex has the ideal blend of skills to be successful here at Nash. Her passion for and experience in sustainable buildings is also a great fit for us as a practice.

Alex said: “I’m looking forward to starting work on an exciting portfolio of current planning projects while also taking Nash’s multidisciplinary offer forward to new clients. Nash’s commitment to sustainability and socially-focused design set them apart and align with my approach to creating successful and resilient outcomes.
