Law firm advise on sale of specialist camera business


Bristol-based lawyers at Osborne Clarke have advised the shareholders of Silent Sentinel, a specialist manufacturer of short to long range thermal cameras, HD and 4K visible cameras and ultra-low light cameras, on its acquisition by American electronics manufacturer Motorola.

Silent Sentinel design, manufacture, and supply specialised cameras intended for use in extreme environments associated with military, aviation, maritime and critical infrastructure.

Its advanced market-leading security systems are predominantly targeted at the Homeland Security market.

This acquisition is a further addition to Motorola’s security camera portfolio and strengthens its position as a global leader in security technology.
