T shirt entrepreneur to speak at networking lunch

An entrepreneur who started his business with a £10 investment in a one-bedroomed flat in Bristol is to speak at TheBusinessDesk.com’s networking lunch.

Pat Wood and his wife Claire had a shared love for 80s memorabilia and decided to go into business selling T-shirts and pop merchandise.

TruffleShuffle curates and designs pop culture merchandise that fans find irresistible.

The company is celebrating its 20 year anniversary later this year. In that time, TruffleShuffle has sold over £75m worth of unique, fan-focussed clothing, accessories and gifts through their website and hundreds of high-street stores.

And it has become one of the UK’s largest dedicated retailers of licensed t-shirts, accessories and gifts.

TruffleShuffle specialises in cult, retro merchandise from TV, movies, bands and brands.

Pat will talk about his business journey and the lessons he has learnt along the way and he will also explain where the name of his business comes from.
