Dorset waste firms adds another acquisition to business

A skip hire and waste management company has acquired a rival business.

The Waste Group, which is based in Dorset, has acquired BJ Guy Ltd, a skip hire business.

The deal is the latest acquisition for the firm. Last July, TWG acquired Swanage-based Ideal Skips (Southern) Ltd.

Based in Wareham, TWG is a waste management company offering skips, hire services, asbestos disposal and aggregates sales.

Founded in 2013, it operates from Weymouth & Portland to Christchurch and as far north as Blandford.

The company’s plans are to continue to expand further throughout the county with new tipping facilities in south Dorset as well as adding to its existing fleet of skips and lorries.
