Tickets selling fast for South West property lunch

Tickets are selling fast for a South West Property Networking lunch which is taking place next month.

The man in charge of one of the biggest property projects in Bristol in decades is to speak at the lunch.

Barra Mac Ruairi, the chief property officer at Bristol University, is heading up a multi-million scheme that will reshape a huge swathe of the city.

The Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus is a flagship project for the University of Bristol and the city as a whole.

Barra is heading up the project and will give an insight into the impact it will have on the city.

The new Campus will be a catalyst for the wider redevelopment of Bristol Temple Quarter, the UK’s largest regeneration site.

The regeneration of Temple Quarter will create 22,000 new jobs and 10,000 new homes. It will introduce more inclusive routes into education and bring £1.6b every year into the city economy.

With a refurbished Bristol Temple Meads station at its heart, the area will become a world-class gateway to Bristol and the West of England.

A new entrance from Bristol Temple Meads station will open directly into the Temple Quarter Campus. It will also join the city centre to the east of the city with new walking and cycling paths.

The University of Bristol is working closely with Bristol City Council, the West of England Combined Authority, Network Rail and Homes England to achieve these aims.

The event is taking place at Piccolino’s on Wednesday, May, 8th. Click here to grab your ticket.
