Workplace design company announces senior hire

Bath-based workplace design and build company Interaction has appointed experienced senior designer Martha Gray to its fast-growing team.

Martha joins Interaction as a creative lead from London-based office design and build agency Oktra where she was a senior designer leading on major projects, from pitching stage through to completion.

Projects included the design of new showpiece London headquarters for Control Risks, the global risk consultancy, and a new London office for Tripledot Studios, which is one of the world’s largest mobile gaming companies.

Prior to this Martha was a senior designer at BDG Architecture + Design in London where she led aspects of design projects for clients including Google. Martha previously worked as a designer for Siren Design Group in Sydney, Australia, where her clients included Uber.

In her new role as a creative lead at Interaction, Martha will lead a team of designers working on a pipeline of exciting new nationwide design projects.

Her arrival follows a string of new appointments and project wins at Interaction which recently moved to new state-of-the-art offices at The Quarter in Edgar Mews, Bath. In February the firm announced six new hires which included senior and graduate appointments.

Interaction’s managing director Dieter Wood said: “Martha has tremendous experience leading on high-profile design projects in London and nationally, so it’s great to welcome her to our fast-growing team.

“She is the latest senior designer to move from London to find fulfilling and creative design work, and better quality of life, with us here in the West Country. We know Martha is going to have every success in her critical new role here at Interaction.”
