Law firm announces round of promotions across its business
South West legal and financial planning firm Mogers Drewett has announced a record number of promotions.
The round of promotions is part of a strategy to develop talent throughout the business.
The firm, which has offices in Bath, Wells, Sherborne and Frome, has appointed four new partners and made other promotions across its commercial and private client teams.
They include Jenna Allsop who becomes a partner in Mogers Drewett’s commercial property team. Jenna specialises in all aspects of commercial property including landlord and tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals, and the property aspects of corporate transactions.
Also promoted is Cara Burr who becomes a partner in Mogers Drewett’s private client team. Cara advises on wills, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney, and is a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She also specialises in agricultural wills and succession planning, and estate administration.
Emily Eccles is also celebrating her promotion to partner in Mogers Drewett’s corporate commercial team. Emily’s expertise ranges from advising on commercial and shareholder agreements to more complex transactional work such as mergers, acquisitions and restructuring advice.
Others promoted to partner include Georgina Woodman who is head of Mogers Drewett’s operations team and responsible for the day-to-day running of the firm’s four offices. She is the first non-lawyer to become a partner at the firm.
Meanwhile, John Osman becomes an equity partner in the firm’s disputes team which he now heads. John has considerable experience in both commercial and property disputes, as well as advising clients dealing with disputed wills, trusts and estates.
Also promoted to equity partner is Alison Treble in Mogers Drewett’s residential property team. Alison advises on buying and selling residential property, specialising in high value transactions.
Others moving up include Victoria Darvall, who becomes a senior associate in the firm’s corporate commercial department, and Anne-Marie Worth, who is now an associate in the private client team.
