Key £330m route in Cornwall to reopen after four years of works

A key £330m route in Cornwall is to reopen after four years of roadworks.
A stretch of the A30 in Cornwall has reopened to traffic four months later than planned.
Work on the £330m dual carriageway upgrade project between Chiverton Cross and Carland Cross roundabouts got underway in 2020.
In February, the project – which was due to be completed in March 2024 – was extended for a further four months.
National Highways said there was still work to do on local roads to complete the project, meaning more roads would be closed in the next few weeks.
