Council’s systems remain offline after ‘cyber incident’
Tewkesbury Borough Council has said there is “no evidence of a data breach” after a cyber incident last week.
It is continuing an investigation to see “whether any data has been compromised as a result of this incident”.
In a statement, it said: “There is currently no clear timeframe for bringing our systems back online and our officers remain dedicated to responding to the incident.”
The council is holding pop-up hubs this afternoon in Bishop’s Cleeve, Churchdown, Brockworth and Winchcombe to “provide face-to-face support to communities”.
The National Cyber Security Centre and other specialists are working with the council to identify the cause and the extent of the damage.
