Devon care home has new owners after sale is completed

A care home in Devon has been sold to a family run business.

Business property adviser Christie & Co has negotiated the sale of Bodmeyrick Residential Home in Holsworthy.

Bodmeyrick Residential Home is registered to provide residential care to up to 28 clients over 65 years of age as well as those with dementia, mental health conditions and physical disabilities.

The home is a period, detached property which has been extended and modified, and is located in a prominent position within the market town of Holsworthy in the Torridge district of the county.

During a confidential sales process with Christie & Co, the home generated high levels of interest, with multiple offers being made.

Ark Care Homes, a family-run care business with homes across Devon, are the new owners.

Ark’s portfolio also includes three specialist younger adult learning disability care homes in North Devon and three elderly dementia homes in the south of the county.

Bodmeyrick Residential Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
