Escape Lounge due to open at Bristol Airport this summer

Work is underway for Bristol Airport’s new Escape Lounge, which is due to open this summer.

Located on the first floor of the departure lounge, it will offer an additional 140 seats and will have floor to ceiling glass windows looking out on to the Eastern apron. Customers can also now pre-book their access ahead of the lounge’s summer 2025 opening.

The lounge will offer multiple zones suited for dining, working, and relaxing.

The current Escape Lounge will remain open while building works are carried out and there will be additional announcements in the coming months on how the existing space will be used in the future.

Kate Gwyther, head of commercial at Bristol Airport, said: “It’s exciting to see the next step of our multi-million-pound terminal transformation take place. The new lounge will more than double in size providing a relaxing atmosphere. This is one of the many changes customers can look forward to in the departure lounge, with more exciting news to follow.”

Rob Hassard, head of growth for CAVU, the parent company of Escape Lounges, said: “We’re delighted to be able to announce the opening of our new lounge at Bristol Airport, as well as provide travellers the opportunity to pre-book their visit ahead of the new space opening. A visit to the lounge ensures a smooth, relaxing start to any journey, providing a comfortable space to unwind before a flight. Our mission is to transform the airport experience, and we’re thrilled to bring a new, elevated offering to Bristol and contribute to their ongoing transformation.”
