Bristol Airport gearing up for busy Easter weekend

More than 16,000 passengers are expected to arrive daily at Bristol Airport between Good Friday and Easter Monday – with the extended weekend likely to be its busier ever.
Some of the busiest flights are arriving from Poland, Spain and Italy while many will also be using the airport to visit top destinations over Easter, such as Palma, Alicante, Faro, Malaga and Tenerife as well as city breaks to Amsterdam, Dublin, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast.
The new A1 and A3 flyer timetable is now in full effect – the A1 runs from the Airport to Bristol Temple Meads via Bedminster every eight minutes from 7am to 7pm, and overnight a bus will be available every 30 minutes.
During the day the A3 will mostly run every half-an-hour. And at night the service will be increased to at least hourly. The timetable is available on Bristol Airport’s website.
Last year a record number of passengers and staff used the A1 and A3 Flyer with a total of 1.3m journeys being made.
