Big four firm appoints first female leader in the South West
Big four firm Deloitte has appointed its first ever female boss of the South West and Wales region.
Lizzie Hill is taking over the role from long-serving Martyn Gregory – one of the best-known figures in the South West’s business sector.
Hill, a tax partner, is a specialist in advising privately owned businesses and a member of the Deloitte Private executive group in the UK.
She has over 20 years’ experience supporting privately owned companies and has been instrumental in growing Deloitte Private in the region.
Martyn Gregory has been appointed UK M&A lead partner but remains based in the South West where he continues as financial advisory lead.
Martyn was practice senior partner for the South West and Wales for nearly ten years and was the driving force in the growth of Deloitte’s practice in the region over this period, including three transformational acquisitions.
Deloitte’s team in the region now stands at over 2,000 professionals demonstrating a huge breadth of talent and expertise.
