Law firm announces move to new head office

A specialist law firm has announced it is opening a new office in Cheltenham town centre.

Montpellier Legal, a specialist conveyancing law firm, is moving its head office to the Brewery Quarter.

The move marks the firm’s continued growth and expansion in the legal industry.

The new office, located above PizzaExpress in The Brewery Quarter, will provide Montpellier Legal with a prime location for serving its clients in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas.

Montpellier Legal’s office forms part of the 60,000 sq ft of office space on site.

Montpellier Legal’s dynamic business has grown rapidly since opening in 2021.

Chief executive Simon Thomas said: “Most legal firms are still stuck in the past when it comes to conveyancing.  What our clients are always surprised and delighted with is the speed in which we get the job done, and how well we communicate the process to them.  It’s why in the last 18 months our business has grown at the rate it has.”

Nick Ponting, the chief operating officer of Montpellier Legal, added: “We’re thrilled to be bringing our modern head quarters to The Brewery Quarter.

“It is a fantastic location for our employees and our clients alike.  We’re excited to be part of such a vibrant and diverse community of businesses. We look forward to servicing our clients in the area and contributing to the continued growth and success of The Brewery Quarter.”

With the opening of the new office, The Brewery Quarter is now 99 per cent let with just one 2,000 sq ft unit remaining.

Nikki Kontarines, director of Martin Commercial Properties, the managing agents of The Brewery Quarter said: “Montpellier Legal’s decision to open an office in The Brewery Quarter is a testament to the destination’s appeal and its reputation as a hub for commerce and entrepreneurship.

“It solidifies our position as a sought-after destination for businesses looking to establish a presence in the area.”

Oliver Workman, partner of THP Chartered Surveyors, the office letting agents for The Brewery Quarter, said: “We were delighted to facilitate Montpellier Legal’s relocation, this is a clear indication that the Brewery Quarter has now become the home for business alongside its existing Leisure and Retail offer.

“Montpellier Legal join Amwins, SLG and Hub 8 as part of a growing office contingent at the Brewery Quarter.”
