Bank appoints South West ambassador

Lloyds Banking Group has appointed Nicola Littlejohn as its new group ambassador for the South West of England.

Alongside a team of experts from across the group, she will engage with policy makers, regional business leaders, community networks and charitable organisations to deliver the group’s purpose, to help Britain prosper at a local level.

In this role, Littlejohn will bring people together to share insights to address the challenges facing the region, such as access to affordable and sustainable housing, supporting the region’s transition to a low-carbon economy. Through this work, the ambassador programme aims to cultivate a financially resilient environment that fosters growth and prosperity for businesses and communities across the South West.

In addition to being a group ambassador, she is a consumer relationships director at Lloyds Banking Group with responsibility for developing initiatives and products to help older customers build greater financial security. Prior to her current role, she spent more than two decades in a range of roles across various parts of the Lloyds Banking Group and has lived and worked in the South West region for more than 15 years.

She also serves as a mentor in the Lloyds Banking Group’s Black Business Mentoring Programme, and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive business community and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs.

She said: “As a proud adopted Bristolian I want to work closely with our colleagues, business leaders, policy makers and charities as we aim to build a more prosperous and greener future for customers, businesses and communities across the South West. I’m looking forward to building strong relationships with our community and harnessing my experience and that of my expert team to help the region thrive and create a bright and promising future for itself.”
