Brewers chosen to supply annual balloon fiesta

Bristol’s Butcombe Brewing Co has been chosen as the sole supplier of beer at this year’s Balloon Fiesta.

Held at Ashton Court Estate, Fiesta goers will be able to enjoy the classic Butcombe Original, craft lager Underfall, and the new Tall Tales Pale Ale.

For those looking for a non-alcoholic option the multi award-winning Goram IPA Zero will also be available.

Bruce Rowland, marketing director, Liberation Group (owners of Butcombe Brewing Co) said: “We’re incredibly excited to be the sole supplier of beer at this year’s Bristol Balloon Fiesta.

“The event is a Bristol institution and has been going for about the same amount as time as Butcombe.  We’ve both have a similar ethos in always trying to partner and support local businesses so it’s the perfect partnership.

“We’ve got something for everyone – from the classic Butcombe Original to our new exciting Tall Tales Pale Ale that’s been going down a storm in our pubs, we’re glad to be able to share our beers with visitors and locals – we will also be on our mobile bike-bar sampling, so be sure to stop by and say hello.”

Chris Allcock, chairman of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta organising committee said: “We’re delighted to have Butcombe on board as a partner of the fiesta as a fellow Bristol brand with a focus on community.  We’ll have their delicious brews for sale throughout the fiesta bars so pop by and support them and the event by buying a pint or two.”
