Fit-out firm raises profile thanks to football team

The profile of fast-growing office fit-out specialists Paramount is being raised across the South West by Brislington Juniors Girls’ Colts Under-13 side.

That is because the pioneering youngsters – whose kit is sponsored by Paramount and Ecobat – have secured a niche in the regional football history books.

For they became the first ever side to record a victory in the augural Somerset FA County Girls’ Under 13 Cup as they turned on the style to beat Berrow 7-0.

It was much to the delight of their manager, Sulli Gardner who also just happens to be Paramount’s Bristol-based business development manager.

“It was a case of look-sharp, think-sharp and my players certainly kicked off the brand-new competition in emphatic style,” said Gardner.

“With their brand-new kit they were always going to be in the right frame of mind for their day in the sun and that’s the best they’ve played this season.”

Hot-shot Marla Peel grabbing a hat-trick and Islah Ward hit a first competitive goal since taking up football a year ago while goalkeeper Chinny Nwaorgu recorded her first clean sheet of the season.

“The launch of a new competition in the region shows how much girls’ football is growing and the level of skill and enthusiasm bodes well for the future,” Sulli added.

“And it’s great to see businesses like Paramount and Ecobat joining forces to show their support and help the sport flourish across Bristol and beyond.”
