Developer launches new site in Wiltshire

Developer Bellway South West has launched a new development in Trowbridge.

A sales cabin opened last month at Weavers Meadow, off Elizabeth Way, Hilperton, where the housebuilder is delivering 151 new homes.

The development will comprise 106 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale, alongside 45 one to four-bedroom affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent and shared ownership.

The first selection of homes to be released for sale include a choice of two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Christel Hawkins, Sales Manager for Bellway South West, said: “There has been a great deal of interest in the homes we are building at Weavers Meadow and this was a highly-anticipated launch. The day was a resounding success and our sales team were kept busy by customers keen to learn more about the new properties.

“Now that we have opened a dedicated sales cabin at the development, potential purchasers can call to set an appointment with our sales staff and pop along to the site to check out its location and to get a feel for how the development will sit in the local area.”

All of the private homes at Weavers Meadow will be from Bellway’s Artisan Collection, which is the company’s flagship range of homes designed after decades of feedback from customers. The collection, which is very popular with buyers, combines the latest building techniques with traditional craftsmanship, while the names of the properties celebrate artisan crafts.

Christel said: “The mix of two, three and four-bedroom properties at Weavers Meadow will appeal to a wide range of buyers but the development will be particularly attractive to parents. This sustainable and family-friendly site will feature public open space for residents to explore and children’s play areas to allow youngsters to play and benefit from outdoor exercise.

“Parents will also appreciate that there are 10 primary schools within a two-and-a-half-mile radius and two secondary schools within easy reach as well. Trowbridge Sports Centre is less than ten minutes away by car, while it’s a half-hour walk to the centre of town with its selection of independent shops, restaurants and bars.

“There are good local road links with the nearby A361 connecting to the A350 north for Chippenham and the M4, while the lovely city of Bath is just half an hour away by car. Trowbridge railway station,”
