Law firm announces new managing partner

Law firm  DWF has announced partner Mike Renshaw has announced a new managing partner at its Bristol office.

Mr Renshaw joined the firm in 2021 as a partner in the global major injury and casualty insurance practice in Southampton.

With over two decades of experience in defendant insurance litigation, serving insurers and their individual and corporate policyholders Renshaw has a history of building and nurturing high-performing teams.

Hr will be taking over the of leading a team of 100 at DWF’s Bristol office, taking the reins from Simon Mason, who was managing from the office’s inception in 2011 and is retiring from the business at the end of February 2024.

Mr Renshaw said: “I am really excited about my new role as managing partner and delighted to have the opportunity to return to Bristol and work with the talented team to deliver the next phase of our journey.

“Bristol is superbly located to serve clients in Wales, the South and South West of England and is well connected to London. We already offer a wide range of services to clients including claims management and adjusting, defendant personal injury, abuse, HSE and criminal defence, GDPR, professional indemnity and subrogated recovery, and intend to grow these and other areas substantially over the next four years.”
