Law firm Buckles has made several new appointments as part of its ongoing growth strategy.

The firm, which recently achieved record year-on-year growth and expanded into new locations in Bristol and Swindon, has welcomed solicitors Eleanor Adshead and Najia Robbani to the employment law team led by partner Sarah Rushton.

Additionally, trainee solicitor Martino Barzaghi, previously a paralegal at Buckles’ associate law firm Castaldi Partners in Europe, has joined the team.

Partner Sarah Rushton said: “Buckles is a growing business and continues to attract clients thanks to our fresh approach to the legal challenges they face. Clients face an increasing number of employment matters and our innovative solutions, ensures a growing demand for our services.

“These new appointments, all of whom will be based in London, stand testament to the reputation of the firm. This helps attract not only new clients but talented individuals of this calibre, with the expertise and experience needed to help the team deliver the support our clients require. It adds further depth to our Employment offering with Nicola Cockerill, senior associate in Peterborough. Eleanor is a great fit for the team. She is motivated and personable, with a broad range of experience supporting both Respondent and Claimant clients through contentious Employment Tribunal proceedings.

“Najia not only brings employment law expertise to the role, but she is also a Mentor for aspiring Solicitors. This will be extremely useful as we continue to develop our junior lawyers, to ensure we have the strength in depth a modern full-service law firm requires as it continues to grow. Martino has switched to employment law and given the growing number of international corporates Buckles advises, his time working with international lawyers on cross-border matters, will prove very advantageous for the team and our clients.”

Eleanor Adshed said: “Joining Buckles is a great step in my career. This is an ambitious law firm with a clear growth strategy. The work of the Employment Law team is central to the plan and the support we provide to our growing list of clients.

“Given the recent and expected changes to employment legislation, from the Employment Relations Bill to the Fertility Treatment Bill, it’s clear we will be busy providing support for organisations as they come to terms with what the changes mean for them and their employees.”.
