Wright Hassall steps in to sponsor agricultural show

A MIDLAND agricultural show has been boosted after securing three new sponsors.

The Kenilworth and District Agricultural Society’s (KADAS) annual Kenilworth Show is now in its 68th year and one of the industry’s most important showcases following the demise of the Royal Show.

This year’s event takes place on Saturday, June 4 opposite the National Agricultural Centre (NAC) in Stoneleigh.

To help underwrite costs, Warwickshire law firm Wright Hassall has agreed to become one of the event’s sponsors and it has been joined by independent fuel distributor Rix Petroleum and Mitsubishi main dealer Oak Tree Garages.

Show secretary Penny Poulter said securing the backing of businesses with strong links with the agricultural industry was vital to the success of the event.

She said: “The Kenilworth Show is now one of the biggest one day agricultural shows in the region and relies on strong support from the local and regional business community to continue to thrive so we’re delighted to have three successful companies on board.

“Oak Tree Garages supplies farmers across Warwickshire and the West Midlands and is keen to boost its presence further in the sector, while Rix Petroleum is well known in the agricultural industry as the company is one of the largest independent fuel distributors in the UK.

“The rural team at Wright Hassall has established strong relationships with the farming community in the region over a number years and we look forward to working with the firm once again as we move closer to June 4.”
