Property Appointments: DTZ, GVA, Colliers

REAL estate services firm DTZ has expanded its team in Birmingham with the appointments of four new staff.

The corporate real estate management team has recruited Andy Knight as head of finance while Andy Woodall joins the team as a surveyor.

Graduate surveyor Joe Williams has been signed up by the firm’s residential consulting team and John Dony is the new regional facilities manager in the asset management team.

Mr Knight has 17 years of finance experience and joins DTZ from Waterdale Associates in Birmingham where he was finance director.

Mr Woodall has been recruited from Birmingham Property Services where he worked as a management surveyor on Birmingham City Council’s commercial property portfolio.

Mr Williams joins the residential consulting team from Cartus Relocation, in London, after graduating from Sheffield Hallam University.

Mr Dony has moved up from CBRE in Bristol and brings 15 years of experience in facilities management. DTZ employs over 250 people in its Birmingham office.

THE property management consultancy team at GVA’s Birmingham office has appointed Claire Bramhall to the post of senior surveyor.

Having previously worked for BNP Paribas Real Estate and Chesterton’s Milton Keynes office, she will manage a mix of industrial and office properties and deal with all aspects of property management.

Her appointment brings GVA’s property management consultancy team up to 24 in the Birmingham office.

COLLIERS International has appointed Andrew Collyer as associate director in its Birmingham-based accurates division.

Mr Collyer has more than 20 years of experience in the administration and collection of local business taxation charges.

He previously worked for Shropshire Council as revenues manager, where he was responsible for managing three teams, administering and collecting council tax and national non-domestic rates.

He was also responsible for determining applications for discretionary rate relief.
