Jones Lang LaSalle reveals new leadership structure

COMMERCIAL property services firm Jones Lang LaSalle has announced the leadership structure for its newly merged operation with former rival King Sturge.
Heading up the Birmingham operation will be former King Sturge head Ian Cornock, who is designated head of office, while JLL’s existing head of office Jan Thompson becomes Midlands regional chairman.
Andrew Gould, Jones Lang LaSalle UK chief executive, said: “We have brought together outstanding leadership drawn equally from both original organisations. This tremendously powerful group will take our business forward across the UK.
“I have every confidence in their ability to provide outstanding client service and drive long-term growth.”
The two firms merged earlier this month in a £197m deal which effectively marked the end of the King Sturge brand as the business was absorbed into the existing JLL organisation.
In Birmingham, JLL is based at One Colmore Square while King Sturge is in Church Street. It is yet to be decided what will happen to the two offices.
Integration of the two offices is still taking place but there has been no word on whether there will be redundancies.
Around 120 people across the two offices and duplication of roles may be inevitable.
