Growth for Birmingham insurance firm as new face arrives

Spencer Russell has joined JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers in Birmingham office as an account handler, specialising in real estate and construction insurance services.

Russell joins the Birmingham team from Bennett Gould & Partners, where he worked for three years as an account handler. In his new role, he will support clients in the property sector with insurance policy queries and renewals, as well as being involved with new business and marketing initiatives.

He started his career in the insurance industry straight out of university, where he studied Chemistry. Since then, he has developed a keen interest in the construction and real estate industry and says he is eager to develop in his role and enhance the service the business offers.

Russell added: “The role really appealed to me because of the opportunity to work in this more specialist field of insurance broking. It’s an exciting new challenge for me and I’m already enjoying working on some of the more complex policy requirements and I’ve learned a great deal working alongside Chris.”
