Hardware company nails down Solihull warehouse

Consort Architectural Hardware, a family-owned hardware company, has secured a warehouse in Solihull to support its ongoing expansion.

The Birmingham-based company, which has grown from a small ironmongery business founded in 1970 to a global brand operating across four continents, has taken on the 23,163 sq ft unit at Radial Park.

Control Equipment (UK), the previous tenant, enlisted Harris Lamb’s Commercial Agency team to transfer the remainder of its 10-year lease.

Neil Slade from Harris Lamb said: “Radial Park is a prime industrial development located in Birmingham Business Park, one of the region’s key commercial hubs. With its proximity to major motorways, Birmingham Airport, and the International Railway Station, this site is highly attractive. The unit was handed over fully refurbished with great amenities, including a canteen and high ceilings.

“Consort’s continued success as a family-run business, even with its global expansion, is a fantastic story. This move will allow the company to further strengthen its international presence.”

Daniel May, director at Consort Architectural Hardware said: “This facility provides the perfect environment to support our growth while maintaining our focus on innovation and culture. We’re excited about this new chapter for Consort and the opportunities it presents.”
