Shropshire Chamber offers e-learning platform to members

SHROPSHIRE Chamber of Commerce’s Business Academy has announced a new partnership that is intended to provide local businesses with the opportunity to take advantage of top training at their fingertips. 

The Chamber has teamed up with Maguire Training, whose online learning portal holds nearly 100 modules that can fast-track the development of employees across all sectors and industries.

Andy Foster, director of training at Maguire, said “We believe that e-learning must be just like any other form of learning – engaging, relevant and measurable.

“That’s why we have used real people in our e-learning videos and why we have developed modules across the core areas of our learning portfolio.”

All members of Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and users of the Academy will now have preferential access to the Maguire E-learning platform.

Each learning module, covering areas specifically for managers, leaders, sales and self-discovery, lasts around 30 minutes and upon successful completion, qualifies for one CPD point and is fully certified by Maguire Training.

Chris Jones, the Chamber’s communications and relationships manager, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside the team at Maguire Training to be able to offer our Members access to these hugely valuable e-learning programmes.”
