A COTSWOLD country inn has been sold in an undisclosed deal brokered by Colliers International. The Seagrave Arms in Weston Subedge, near Chipping Campden has been acquired by Cirrus Inns.

The country inn, formerly owned by the Denton family, offers eight bedrooms along with a popular restaurant and fits with the growth strategy being implemented by the London-based pubco.

Cirrus intends some minor alterations to the venue but in aspect the venue will remain as it is.

Peter Brunt, hotelds director, Colliers International said the stunning frontage was set to attract locals and tourists alike.

“The Seagrave Arms is a handsome Georgian building in the heart of the Cotswolds – one of the most consistently popular visitor destinations outside of London – hence it popularity with buyers,” he said.

Situated mid-way between the tourist hotspots of Chipping Campden and Broadway and just 20 minutes’ drive from both Cheltenham and Stratford upon Avon, the Grade II listed country inn is close to the Fosse Way, M5 and the main A44   Oxford to Worcester road.
