Tipton and Coseley strengthens intermediary team

THE Tipton and Coseley Building Society has strengthened its intermediary team with the appointment of a new business development manager to grow its mortgage business locally and across the UK.

Nicola Southall, from Halesowen, brings with her almost 20 years’ experience gleaned from time spent as a mortgage adviser and field based business development manager.  She will be responsible for engaging with brokers to promote the society’s range of mortgages with the overall aim of growing the mortgage business. She will report to Richard Groom, the Tipton’s head of mortgage sales (intermediary and direct).

Groom said: “Appointing Nicola demonstrates the importance we place on recruiting the best people in the industry. She brings with her considerable knowledge and her experience will help us grow our mortgage business.”

This latest recruitment follows the successful introduction of a new desk-based intermediary support service to compliment Ms Southall’s role in the field. Faye Sheldon, who has worked for the society since 2003, joins the team as business development administrator and is available for any new enquiries received by phone.
