New gym is fit for purpose after £500,000 investment

A FITNESS company has set up a new operation in Worcestershire following a £500,000 investment.
Anytime Fitness, part of a global franchise, has taken on premises at the Crossley Retail Park, Kidderminster.
Redditch property agents John Truslove advised landlords Cape Property Holdings on the letting, which comprises a 15-year lease.
The launch of the fitness operation has seen the creation of four new full-time jobs, as well as a number of self-employed instructors to run the business.
The £500,000 investment has included a £250,000 refit of the building and the £150,000 purchase of gym equipment.
The premises were formerly occupied separately by Carphone Warehouse and Blockbuster.
Anytime general manager Michael Fleming said: “We are pleased with how it has gone. Already we are almost half way to full capacity.”
Ben Truslove, a director of John Truslove, said: “It’s great to see that Anytime Fitness is doing so well. With today’s fast action business world, clubs remain very much in vogue as people look to maintain a healthy lifestyle and a trim body.”
