Millennium Point

An iconic Birmingham landmark in the heart of Eastside, Millennium Point is a unique venue destination in Birmingham city centre, and just a short walk from all three main train stations.

Think you know Millennium Point? There’s more to it than meets the eye.

You might already know it as the home of ThinkTank, Birmingham City University and its other tenants. Or perhaps you have attended a conference, function or screening in the 350-capacity Auditorium and giant screen, flexible workspaces in Connect or meeting rooms.

What you might not know is that Millennium Point is a charity, and in 2018 alone it contributed £4.8m to support science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) projects and initiatives across the West Midlands. This means every time someone books, hosts, attends an event, or becomes a tenant, they help support more charitable projects in Birmingham and beyond.

Opened in 2002 by the Queen, Millennium Point is the largest landmark millennium project in England outside of London. Its unique position as a charity allows it to champion and facilitate meetings, partnerships and innovation between businesses, educators and the next generation of leaders across the region.
