Keltruck perked up by health store’s 37-vehicle deal

HOLLAND and Barrett has ordered a fleet of new trucks from Black Country-based Keltruck.
The deal to add 37 new vehicles to a 50 vehicle fleet was made between Steve Davis, transport manager of Holland and Barrett. and Mike Kelly, fleet sales director of Keltruck.
The 18 tonne vehicles were ordered to replace existing vehicles within the fleet, and have been put into operation to help supply the health food chain’s 1000+ stores nationwide.
The vehicles feature Scanis’s new two pedal Opticruise gearbox and have been supplied with Keltruck’s five-year full contract hire package. They will be maintained at Keltruck’s depot at the Centrum 100 Estate in Burton-on-Trent, near to Holland and Barrett’s Midlands hub.
Mr Davis said: “Our decision was influenced by three factors: reliability, economic efficiency and driver comfort.
We have a very good working relationship with Keltruck on all levels. Keltruck Burton is very close to our premises so the service they provide is like having our own garage on site”
Mr Kelly said: “Keltruck has maintained a close working relationship with Holland and Barrett over the past years and along with the robust reliability of the Scania product, this resulted in Keltruck winning the business.”
