Marketing firm targets growth after expansion

MARKETING firm Kadfire is targeting growth after moving into larger premises. The Redditch company produces marketing and customer information publicity for a number of large clients across the UK.

With a strong focus on the transport sector, customers include Network Rail, London Overground, Cross Country, Chiltern Railways, Arriva, London Midland, East Midlands Trains and First Great Western.

The company, which also has a design and print studio, develops and maintains timetable and journey planning applications for the iPhone, Blackberry and mobile phones.

Kadfire has now relocated from into a 10,675 sq ft office and warehouse unit on the Trafford Park Industrial Estate.

Studio manager Anton Thomas said: “We aim to offer our clients an end-to-end service from concept through to final product. We are looking to expand what has historically been a niche-market operation to a much wider audience.

“Our in-house print facility manages the print and dispatch of large format posters, indoor and outdoor banners, small and large signage, and a variety of other printed display products.”

Launched in 1995, the company employs 25 people and also has offices in London.

Property agent John Truslove, who helped secure the new lease, said: “Kadfire is a great example of an SME doing well in a specialist sector. We were very pleased to be of assistance.”

Kadfire has agreed a 10 year lease with a break clause in its favour at the end of the fifth year.
