Head of Knight Frank resigns from post

THE head of the Birmingham office of property consultancy and agency Knight Frank has resigned from the post.

Mark Swallow leaves the company after 16 years of service, having set up the Newcastle operation before leading the Birmingham base since 1999.

A brief statement from the company has indicated no reason for the departure or what Mr Swallow plans to do next.

Mr Swallow leaves the firm with immediate effect and will be succeeded by Ashley Hudson who has been with Knight Frank since 2003, latterly as a partner.

Mr Hudson will perform a dual role by continuing his duties as head of the Birmingham investment agency team as well as leading the office.
