Harrison Clark launches renewable energy team

WORCESTER and Cheltenham-based law firm Harrison Clark has launched a renewable energy team.

It will advise on a range of issues relating to the renewable energy sector including regulation, planning, property, construction, corporate structure and financing, contracts and IP law.

Rachael Thornton, solicitor at Harrison Clark and part of the renewable energy team, said: “The renewable industry is growing fast, with the introduction of the feed-in-tariff and the renewable heat incentive, as well as the green deal set to come into play in Autumn 2012.

“More and more individuals and businesses are becoming involved with renewable projects, not just the massive energy users. The new renewable energy team at Harrison Clark has links with lenders and specialist professional advisors to ensure that our clients receive advice from professionals who understand the sector.”

The renewable energy team members include Rachael Thornton, Mary Wathen, Rob Cobley, Tim Willis, and Tracey Merrett.
