Wragge & Co appoints new directors to strengthen growth areas

LAW firm Wragge & Co has appointed seven new directors to support the growth areas of its practice. The promotions take the total number of directors to 47.

The promotions represent a range of specialist practice areas. They are Helene Adlard (commercial litigation), Louise Clifford (employment), Claire O’Brien (IP), Jasvir Jootla (corporate recovery), Penny Sanders (financial services) and Kirsten Whitfield (data protection). Paris-based Danhoe Reddy-Girard (real estate) rounds off the seven.

Senior partner Quentin Poole said: “Each of these exceptional lawyers has a track record of delivering stand-out client service, first-rate technical know-how and winning high-quality, high-value work. They consistently demonstrate the commercial flair and innovative approach needed to achieve the best results for clients.”

Wragge & Co has no salaried partners and the director role recognises lawyers with exceptional levels of experience and skill, capable of making a significant contribution to the business. Responsibilities can include managing client relationships, business development or leading a particular practice area.

The new appointments follow a series of senior hires, including healthcare partner Robert Breedon, banking partner Jennifer Mackerras, IP partner Paul Inman, development and investment expert Tim Steele and new head of international arbitration Peter Flint. Public law and real estate specialist Bruno Richard and employment partner Valerie Blandeau also joined the Paris office.
