A motorcycle dealer has expanded its operation after agreeing a deal on new premises in the Black Country.

Family business Horton Motorcycles has taken 2,760 sq ft at Unit 2, Bridge House, 47-55 Bridge Street, Walsall on a 10-year lease arranged by property agents Bond Wolfe.

The premises, which used to be part of the town’s Co-operative department store, will become the firm’s second outlet in the area after its existing premises in Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield.

Run by businessman Nicolas Horton and his son Jacob, the company specialises in Lexmoto machines. The Chinese manufacturer specialises in low cc motorcycles and scooters.

Nicolas Horton said the deal marked a significant expansion for the business, which despite its base sells and delivers bikes nationwide.

The company also has further growth planned, with hopes for a second store in the Black Country later this year.

Richard Horwell, of the commercial agency department at Bond Wolfe, said: “I am looking forward to helping this exciting business further its growth plans with hopes to add another store in the Black Country later this year.”
