Airfield 55 set for take off after Trebor secures planning consent

Airfield 55

Trebor Developments and funding partner, Kay Properties (Midlands), have secured detailed planning consent for their speculative 55,000 sq ft industrial unit in Aldridge.

The project, dubbed Airfield 55, benefits from grant funding provided through the Black Country Local Enterprise Partnership.

Work will begin on the 3.34-acre site in the next few weeks and is due for completion in early 2018.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner for Trebor Developments, said on behalf of the partners: “We are delighted to have secured planning and now be in a position to commence construction.

“This speculative 55,000 sq ft development responds to a real gap in the Midlands market for quality industrial accommodation in this size bracket.  The building is available to lease and we expect strong interest.”

The contractor selected to build the unit will be announced shortly.

Airfield 55 is being marketed by the Birmingham offices of joint agents, BNP Paribas and Burley Browne.
