Shakespeare’s Marathon
The Shakespeare marathon returns on Sunday for its 36th year. Taking place in Stratford Upon Avon, the event starts at 9am and will take runners through the centre of town whilst running past landmarks like Shakespeare’s old school and Holy Trinity Church, which is home to the grave of William Shakespeare, and the Royal Shakespeare Theatres. Bring On The Bollywood is set to take to the stage at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry this weekend. The story follows The Pawars, who have found a potential suitor for their fun and intelligent daughter Dr Katrina Pawar in the form of Bollywood actor Amit. The Chocolate 5k
Grab your trainers and head along to Bournville on Saturday to raise money for Birmingham’s St Mary’s Hospice at their tastiest event, The Chocolate 5k. Starting at Rowheath Pavillion, runners will come across chocolate stations along the course offering treats and plenty of water to keep you going.
