Fun-filled fiesta set for summer return

Wolverhampton Fiesta is set to return to the city next month following the success of the event in 2016.
The event, which is taking place at West Park in July, is promising a weekend of entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Organised by Harry Jones Company, the two-day event will host a range of entertainment. There are set to be giant and mini monster truck shows, quad bikes, classic cars and a performance by the Stannage stunt team.
There will also be live performances from The Voice star Jason Jones and a number of tribute acts. There is also set to be fun fair favourites to enjoy from the likes of fire breathers, stilt walkers, puppet shows and a Punch and Judy performance.
Families can also enjoy Chinese dragon dancers as well as a moving T-Rex dinosaur. There will also be food courts, licensed bars and stalls to explore.
The action will all be complemented by a giant fun fair by the Harry Jones Company, which is one of the Black Country’s oldest fairground families, having provided fairground entertainment in the Black Country for more than a century.
Harry Jones, whose great grandfather started the business back in 1893, said: “I am absolutely delighted that we’re able to bring Wolverhampton Fiesta back for a second year, and we’re planning to make it bigger and even better for 2017.
“Last year, we welcomed over 15,000 people last year and I want this number to grow.
“I’m so happy that we’ve been able to take on the city show and bring not just our fun fair, but two days packed full with live entertainment, games, and more.
“We get to travel the UK running big events but it’s great when we can get back to our roots and run events closer to where it all started. I hope everyone will join us for what is set to be another great event.”
Wolverhampton Fiesta will take place at West Park from 12pm until 8pm on Saturday July 15 and Sunday July 16 2017.
